Febrile seizure early this morning. Probably nothing to worry about, just scary as all hell.
Turns out a baby with a high fever is a totally different kind of scary than the known-health-issue scary we've experienced so far -- more normal, but just as unpleasant.
He's doing a bit better now, so hopefully his temp will stay low and we can all get some sleep tonight. I've been up since 3am, ugh.
*hugs back* How does anyone survive parenthood? I feel like I owe my mother so many backlogged hugs. Also I never knew it was possible to be so sleep deprived. I'm shocked that I'm allowed to operate heavy machinery.
I occasionally look back in wonder that I didn't crash a car or something back when mine were infants because I know I was a sleep deprived zombie most of the time. I don't know how anyone survives it, either. People tell me we'll look back on that time and miss it, but I'll be honest I can't believe it. You're an amazing person, hon. Hang in there and feel free to vent. *****more hugs****
